Eximstats parses exim mainlog and syslog files to output a statistical analysis of the messages processed. By default, a text analysis is generated, but you can request other output formats using flags. sometime eximstats consuming high resources it will better if you don’t required the n disable it.
If you want to disable Eximstat on WHM/cPanel then you can follow the below steps :
Eximstats stores statistics for Exim, which is to say it saves information and data on the mail software. Eximstat saves this in MySQL and over time can grow quite monstrous and sometimes can be quite taxing on MySQL. It’s use More CPU and Memory.
How to disable Eximstats on WHM/Cpanel :
- Login in to the WHM
- Service Configuration >> Service Manager
- Under tailwatchd option
- Uncheck Eximstats
Press save at the bottom of the list and you have successfully disabled Eximstats
