Resolved – Server Error: SUBSCRIBE: Internal error occurred. Refer to server log for more information

Today, One of my co-worker reported me draft, send, trash is not showing in roundcube. When he is trying to enable the draft, send, trash from Setting >> Folders . He got the error popup message :

Server Error: SUBSCRIBE: Internal error occurred. Refer to server log for more information

I have just checked the server logs and I found the below error in logs :

grep username@domain.com /var/log/maillog

Feb  4 09:06:19 dedi dovecot: imap(username@domain.com): Error: fchown(/home/xxxxxxx/mail/domain.com/username/subscriptions.lock, group=99(nobody)) failed: Operation not permitted (egid=503(xxxxxxx), group based on /home/xxxxxxx/mail/domain.com/username – see http://wiki2.dovecot.org/Errors/ChgrpNoPerm)

I have just checked the permission of the user email id and I found there is some permission issue.

root@dedi [/home/xxxxxxx/mail/domain.com]# ls -ld username
drwxr-x–x 9 uvw1uvw2 nobody 4096 Feb  4 09:42 username/

I have follow the below steps and resolve the issue :

root@dedi [/home/xxxxxxx/mail/domain.com]# chmod 700 username

root@dedi [/home/xxxxxxx/mail/domain.com]# ls -ld username
drwx—— 9 uvw1uvw2 nobody 4096 Feb  4 09:42 username/

Now, he is able to access all the folder (drafts, trash, send etc…)
